Four Day Pottery Throwing Intensives (July & August 2025)
Throwing Intensive
This course is suitable for all abilities from beginners to advanced throwers. The student will have uninterrupted tutored time to focus on practicing and improving throwing skills. Students can bisque fire 5 pots.
The course starts at 11am each day.

I could not have expected to have learned and developed as much as I did over just one week, and really felt my shaky technique and ability on the wheel develop considerably.
Roz’s fluid approach allowed us to be creative, learn and try things beyond the schedule, while still covering off all the topics listed in the schedule. For example, at the start of the week I had no idea how to go about making a teapot (not in the schedule) and by the end of the week, due to Roz’s steady guidance, I’d somehow made one!
I’d highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to immerse themselves in a therapeutic week of clay in the idyllic setting of Dukes Meadows with a wonderful tutor.”
