3 January Drawing with Dip Pen and Ink. Beginner’s guide. Simple exercises. (Materials: small selection of drawing nibs, dip pen holder, small watercolour brush, small bottle drawing ink black, jar for water, soft cloth to wipe the nib, A4 pen drawing paper, graphite pencils, rubber)
10 January Learning from Rembrandt. His technique and subjects (Materials: see above)
17 January Modern pen drawing. From Van Gogh to modernity (Materials: see above)
24 January Beginners: introduction to drawing: essential exercises (materials: A3 drawing paper, selection of graphite pencils from HB to 6B); Intermediate: Model. Portrait (A2 paper)
31 January Beginners: Depth and Space in drawing. Intermediate: Model. Portrait continued
7 February Both groups: Relationship between vertical, horizontal and diagonal elements in drawing. Beginners: Geometric objects. (Materials: A2 paper, pencils)
