13th Sept – Colours of Shangri-La. Painting the Mountains (Small canvas board, firm flat palette, medium hog long flat brushes, colours: alizarin crimson, French ultramarine, cobalt blue, viridian green, cadmium yellow and red, raw umber, yellow ochre, red ochre, white, references provided by the tutor)

 20th Sept – Colours of Shangri-La. Painting the Mountains (cont.) (Larger canvas or canvas board (appr 12’’x16’’), above materials)

 27th Sept – Painting En Plein Air – sensory and emotional response (Outdoor easel or paint box, full colour palette, medium canvas board white primed, light weight collapsible seat if needed)

 4th Oct – Large still life with tools (A2 size support appr 42 x 60cm, colours: raw umber, raw and burnt sienna, yellow ochre, red ochre transparent, viridian, French ultramarine, white, large hog long flat brushes)

 11th Oct – Large still life with tools (cont.)

 18th Oct – Half Term

 25th Oct – The world through Morandi’s masterpieces. Still life in muted colours (appr A2 canvas board or canvas, natural colours palette no cadmiums or phtalo colours)

 1st Nov – The world through Morandi’s masterpieces. Still life in muted colours cont.

 8th Nov – Painting the human head - from a preliminary sketch to a bigger painting (appr 16 x 12 inches support, full colour palette, medium hog long flat brushes)

 15th Nov – Painting the human head - from a preliminary sketch to a bigger painting (cont.)

 22nd Nov – Water and reflections (Two canvas board any medium size, full colour palette, references provided by the tutor)

6th Dec – Christmas still life in soft pastels (muted colour (medium or light grey, light brown) pastel paper A3 size, different colours soft pastels, apron)
