Sylvie Joly is a London-based studio potter and photographer, and founder of Handmade in Chiswick. Working primarily in rich black stoneware and exploring kurinuki and wheel-thrown techniques, Sylvie draws inspiration from Japanese and Korean ceramic traditions as well as the textures and tones of clay bodies themselves.
